How to access the PLDT Home Fibr Router’s Full admin account? It’s been a while since PLDT sent emails or letters to their subscribers, informing them about their policy changes. The letter stated that to access the root admin of PLDT Home Fibr’s Modem/Router. The subscriber must sign the waiver first.

However, many are skeptical about signing the waiver, that includes me. It is simply because the waiver is so advantageous for PLDT. You read it
PLDT Fibr ONU Users
The policy change may not affect all PLDT subscribers because not all subscribers are advanced users that care about the Modem’s root access or PLDT Fibr Router adminpldt. However, for those advanced users, it’s a significant loss.
As one of the advanced users that struggle to access the PLDT Home Fibr adminpldt account, I tried to call PLDT for help to access the PLDT Fibr’s root admin again but to no avail.

So, I did some research and found a workaround to access the PLDT Fiberhome ONU Router’s adminpldt without signing the PLDT Waiver. These are the steps you need to follow:
⚠ Important Note: This will work only on PLDT Fiberhome ONU Routers.
Access PLDT Fibr adminpldt
First, we need the following:
- Know your PLDT Fiberhome modem-router’s software version ➔ https://youtube.com/shorts/aPmmrCQ0hcc.
- The correct URL ➔ (http://192.168.1.1/fh) of the PLDT Fiberhome Modem router.
- PLDT Superadmin username and password according to your router’s software version.
- PLDT adminpldt username and password based on your router’s firmware or software version.
⚠ Please take note of the information on the list above. We will need that URL, usernames, passwords, and the correct software version of your router.

➊ Now, open a web browser; in the web address bar, type 192.168.1.1/fh, or click this 192.168.1.1/fh to open the PLDT web login page. As shown in the image below.
➋ Input the superadmin username and password according to your router’s software version, ➔ click the login button, or hit enter.
Enable Web Admin Switch
➌ Inside Device Management, select ➔ Debug Switch and Enable Web Admin Switch. Click ➔ Apply to save the changes ➔ Logout.
➍ In the web address bar, type or edit the URL from 192.168.1.1/login.html to 192.168.1.1/fh and Enter↩. Ensure that what you see on the web login page is Administrator and not Username, retype the URL 192.168.1.1/fh if necessary.
➎ On the login page, input adminpldt in the Administrator and the password according to your router’s software version. If you don’t know the password, check this link PLDT default adminpldt passwords. Then click login.
Congratulations!😉 You just accessed the adminpldt account of your PLDT Fibr Modem/Router. Do you find this post helpful? You are free to share this with your friends that encounter the same issue as yours.
⚠ Important: To access the adminpldt account, please always enable the Web Admin Switch first.
If you fail to do so, you will not be able to access your adminpldt account. Instead, you will encounter the “Admin Account Unavailable” error.
Lastly, please keep in mind that accessing the adminpldt account of your PLDT Home Fibr also means responsibility. Please do not abuse it; know your limits. If you are not the owner or the paying PLDT subscriber, you should restrain yourself from getting access to it.

I am new to PLDT Home Fiber and my modem is the FiberHome AN5506-04-FA. I am now able to access the pldt admin page, many thanks for your information.
When enabling the MAC Filtering feature, I notice the modem cannot block logon by devices that have the correct password but are not listed in the whitelist/table. What the security feature is only blocking is the internet access by these devices.
When I was on DSL, the MAC filter of my old router/modem could block all devices not in the whitelist/table even if they have the correct password. This way, these devices could not logon to access 192.168.1.1 and manipulate the control panel. With the HomeFiber modem, any device that has the correct password could access 192.168.1.1, even if they are not listed in the whitelist/table. Please confirm if this is not case. If it is, that is not good.
In my FiberHome modem setup, the MAC Filtering Enable and MAC Filtering Whitelist are enabled. The MAC addresses of allowed devices are listed (with Enable) in the table below. I don’t know if I have set things up correctly or if the modem simply works that way. Perhaps, you might know something about the setup to block the devices not on the MAC Filtering whitelist/table from accessing 192.168.1.1?
Thank you.

Hello John, OMG! (Oh my Goodness) hahahahahha! Your observation is right! However, I cannot test it right now on its workaround. For the meantime, just change your WiFi password to cut those connections. Please understand, I have a computer rental business, I don’t want to bring inconvenience to my customers if I make mistakes on configuration. But rest assured, I will try to configure it out sooner.

Hello I.C Tiempo. Thanks for replying. I don’t have problem with people stealing my bandwidth right now. I am just using the “new privilege” from the admin access your information has given me to set better security as I did with my old DSL modem. Unfortunately, it seems this fiber modem has its flaw. I hope I am wrong.
I.C Tiempo says
I do hope so as well, but it seems it’s indeed, a bug. Although, there were a lot of new configurations to explore with. Perhaps, setting of new configuration has just change a bit compared to DSL router.

I just came across this (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6XA72KtovF0), and remembered your computer rental business. As for me, I immediately changed the passwords upon acquiring special admin access; and more recently, disabled the TR069 and ACL based on new info.

Please help me, any of those 2 username and password is not working on me.
My router is ONU also. What should I do?
I.C Tiempo says
The two username are tested and working well. Maybe you need to reset your router.

I.C Tiempo says
Have you tried to reset your modem? Did you change the password before? Have you access your router before?
Jun Pedrosa says
I tried first set of admin account. The Web Admin Switch could not be enabled. Every time I clicked the Apply button, the choice jumped back to Disable. Tried on two kinds of browser.
I.C Tiempo says
Hello Jun, that’s weird because I tried it just now, and it’s working in my end. Try clear your browser or reset your router.
Jun Pedrosa says
Tried 6 kinds of browsers, same result. I got this modem end of January. You think they updated the software to block editing?
I.C Tiempo says
What is the brand of your Router? Are you using Fibr or DSL? Did you access the admin of your router before and change the default password?
Jun Pedrosa says
Home Fibr using PLDT’s FiberHome. Admin password was changed from the default 4 chars to the usual 10 chars.
I.C Tiempo says
Did you reset your Router? Are you using ONU? I am sorry to ask you questions again but I really need to know. Because, it’s working on my end.
Jun Pedrosa says
No reset. ONU. It’s working for you and not me. I think that’s it.
Jun Pedrosa says
BTW My software is RP2627. Maybe, that’s the reason.
Jun Pedrosa says
I stuck with one browser Chrome and kept trying. In this most recent try I was able to get in. Finally! It asked me to enter a new password for adminpldt. Will the new password I created last or will it fall back to the one you gave above again?
I.C Tiempo says
Hello Jun, that’s good news! The password you made will last forever unless you reset your Fibr Router. However, accessing the adminpldt is not forever it will reset after 4 hours. It is explained here PLDT home Fibr admin account unavailable | Explained. So, how to access it again? Read the later part of this post above. Thank you!
Jun Pedrosa says
I will answer myself. The new password and admin access stay even after several hours and restarting computer, so far. Many thanks for the tips, I.C Tiempo.
I.C Tiempo says
You are welcome Jun, just give us an update in case you encounter problem.
Jun Pedrosa says
I know this is really embarrassing, but I think I should post it to serve as lesson – or joke – for everyone.
The adminpldt had been working fine for days, even after Windows restart or shutdown. Then, there was a problem with the fiber service recently. When it was fixed, I tried entering using adminpldt, but it was disabled. I started the fiberhomesuperadmin process. To my dismay, the Web Admin Switch could not be enabled. Like before, the choice jumped back to Disable every time I clicked the Apply button. I tried very hard to remember what I had done before to enable the admin mode. I could not remember any special thing I did. Suddenly, the Enable state stayed after I clicked the Apply button, and I discovered why it worked again this time.
You know why?
Please sit down, and maintain your balance if you don’t want to fall from what will follow.
I had been clicking the WRONG Apply button.
I had been clicking the Apply button under Omci Debug Switch. Don’t ask me why I did not see the Apply button for the Web Admin Switch, or the one above. I guess this is some sort of “tunnel vision?” =^b

This helped me a lot. Thanks and more powers…Anyway how do you increase the internet speed once you access this?hahaha.. ;-D ….
I.C Tiempo says
Hi Ron, I am about to answer your question on my other post: https://www.techchore.com/new-default-pldt-admin-passwords-updated/. But, it seems your problem is solved now. The speed increase, hahahahahahaha! I will keep you posted once I find out about it.

This the working one. Thank You! I think this is for ONU Fibr router only.
