As a PLDT subscriber, you need to know the PLDT default password of your Modem/router to gain access to your PLDT router’s settings. Moreover, it will not only give you control over your router’s settings and internet connection but secure your LAN. For example, if you want to change your PLDT WiFi password, set a Firewall, URL Filtering, Mac Filtering, etc.

So, take your time to scroll down below and get the default password for your gateway’s model and brand.
PLDT Default password
So, let’s start with this oldest default password and username that’s still in use today. This PLDT primary admin password will help you access the necessary settings of your modem/router. However, not all features are present in basic admin, like port forwarding and other advanced features. Nonetheless, this admin username & password will work on all PLDT DSL, VDSL, and PLDT Fibr routers. It’s a good consolation, at least.

What if you don’t know your PLDT Gateway’s IP Address?
➊ Open a command prompt by going to Start, Accessories, Command Prompt (Windows 7 & 8 users) for (Windows 10 users); you may click the Windows logo/start menu, all apps, Windows system, and Command prompt.
💡 Tips: You may press Windows logo+r then type cmd for faster access.
➋ Once it’s open, type ipconfig/all. Look for an Ethernet adapter and find the DHCP Server or Default Gateway. It must be your PLDT modem/router IP address.
➌ Input it into your browser, and you should be able to see a login prompt. Type your PLDT Default Password and username to gain access.
What if you still cannot access your PLDT mode/router despite all of the methods above? In that case, feel free to contact the PLDT support team. For a faster response, it is suggested to visit the nearest PLDT office in your local area.

After router reset the username “admin” and password “1234” still work this is just the basic access. But we need advanced router settings like mac/IP filtering, ssid broadcasting, port forwarding, for net security etc. This can be accessed using adminpldt with password 1234567890 as default when you reset a router. I can access that before. UNFORTUNATELY AND DEVILISHLY, PLDT removed that access from US (the customer) INTENTIONALLY! President Duterte and NTC should know this, it’s not an isolated case but thousands if not millions of PLDT customers are affected by this issue, most don’t mind because all they need is a plain internet access. If the government will not respond and fix this problem, WHAT A BACKWARD COUNTRY WE HAVE HERE!!!!!
mike says
Yes di na maaccess yung advance settings. Ang nababago na lang is yung wifi password. We can no longer view nor kick nor limit sa interface yung mga mac address na nakaconnect sa modem natin na nakikishare sa connection whether legal or not.
Bryan says
I suspect that PLDT has removed access to the pldtadmin account and then forced people to change the admin account password when accessing the GUI for the first time is because of the “hacking” that happened in 2016. You’ll notice that, for a time period, PLDT blocked users from accessing 192.168.1.1 when connected online. Only way back then was to unplug the phone/fiber line and you can access the gateway. The “hacking” happened to my router, all of a sudden my wifi SSID was changed to a cellphone number one day back in 2016. When you tried to contact said number, he/she’ll tell you to pay/load his/her cellphone so that he/she’ll not mess with your modem again. I have my adminpldt password changed on first day so, unlucky “hacker” can’t get a cent from me. “hacker” was only able to change my settings via admin:1234 (which I never bothered changing before).
This is clearly an inside job. My SSID is hidden so it is near impossible for “hacker” to access my router via WiFi. Further more, my area is not easily accessible to the general public. If ever, my neighbor would be hacked first if we’re talking about range from the main road. I raised the issue via hotline but, obviously, they downplayed the issue saying it couldn’t happened and that they value privacy blah blah (yeah right, as if everyone in the company is an angel).

Hi!
Are there any updates about the new username and password details? I’ve tried all the combinations posted in this article, but none works. I’m using PLDT Home Fibr.
Thanks,

I was looking for the default admin password of my PLDT modem/router I know that this is a new modem release since the adminpldt/1234567890 is not working anymore. I have two internet connection one from gaming and another for internet and printing services.
The first modem was installed 2014 and the second which is the new one was 2017. I saw that this article is posted on 2018, but still I can’t see the correct password for mine.
Though both DSL I can’t say that this is a different modem one with “300Mbps WLAN ADSL2+Router Login” and the other (new) 300Mbps WLAN ADSL2+ROUTER (1 External) Login in their home page.
I hope someone will help me regarding with this new modem release from PLDT.
