PLDT Firmware update
PLDT Fibr Router RP2631 software version and HG6245D version RP2602 is PLDT’s latest update on its router’s firmware. If you read my previous post, PLDT strikes again, from where I discussed how I lost my adminpldt access. IF you are still able to access your PLDT router, it means the update has not reached your area yet. But expect to lose your access in the coming days.

Is there a way to stop the PLDT Firmware update?
There are some people in forums online who said that to stop PLDT from modifying our routers we should turn off
So, as of this time, there is no way to stop PLDT from updating our routers’ firmware. In my opinion, I don’t think it’s right to prevent them from doing so. The only thing that I don’t understand about this update is, the login credentials have been changed.
It seems like PLDT is trying to block subscribers from accessing their Gateway (modem/router). I hope that’s not their motive.

They don’t even inform their subscribers about the update, no email, no letter, no text, and no public statement.
Enough for that, let’s move on to the reason why you are here and that is to access your router RP2631 version and HG6245D version RP2602. Both Firmware version shares the same credentials.
There are two solutions to regain access to the PLDT
The absolute solution to access adminpldt forever is to sign the waiver which I will be posting the soonest possible. You can read the waiver here.

You need to reset the router. Try the “restore all” in superadmin and follow the steps again.

manage to enter the router, but get stuck with this page [https://postimg.cc/GHZZTQwq] the first username and password works but it still redirects to login page but clearly shows what’s the internal webpage..
any suggestions?

Please turn off your router for about 20 seconds, in superadmin enable the telnet and the webadmin switch. Login again and you should see your setings.

Did they change the default password? I followed the steps above, also re-typed the 192.168.1.1/fh URL after logging out of the fiberhomesuperadmin account, and the second username and pw didn’t work.
I also tried the Restore All option after then tried the same steps, still didn’t work. I then did a factory reset and tried the above again, and still no go.
From back when I had access to the adminpldt account, I never changed the default 1234567890 because it was easy to remember. There any way to remedy this? The z6dUABtl270qRxt7a2uGTiw doesn’t work for me, even after typing it.

That’s weird, if you did everything right this should work. The 1234567890 is too old, even in RP2627 the password is different already. RP2631 is the second wave of PLDT update.

Hi, thanks for this update. I actually tried countless times but not being able to get the second option working.
Continuously typing the /fh URL and then the new default password, then just getting the same Username or Password error.
I was almost ready to give up but then I thought, seeing as the new default password was pretty long in characters, I noticed that I was actually copy pasting instead of typing it per character.
After simply pushing through with this typing test-ish task, I was able to get in successfully. So just a heads up in my personal experience, everything in this post works but everything for the second option has to be typed, and not copy pasted. Especially the default password.
Thanks again, I. C for posting this. We in there!
